Hugs on the Homefront

What is 'Hugs on the Homefront'?

Hugs for the Homefront is a gathering of friends and family who come together to talk and encourage each other while loved ones are serving in our nation's military.

Where does 'Hugs on the Homefront' meet?

We meet at the Cresaptown United Methodist Church located at 14805 McMullen Highway (Rt. 220) in Cresaptown, Maryland.  Click here for directions.

When does 'Hugs on the Homefront' meet?

We meet the last Thursday evening of each month at 7:00 p.m.

What do we do at these gatherings?

The gatherings are simply a time for conversations.  It is an informal conversation time, a time to talk about feelings, struggles and fears.  Beverages and sometimes light refreshments will be available as well.

What to bring to these gatherings:

Pictures and letters you would like to share.  We have a military prayer bulletin board on which pictures and information about servicepersons can be displayed.
